we are again looking towards the coming years and have compiled the trend colour palette for 2025+. This year's trend report RAL COLOUR FEELING 2025+ is entitled CARE + COLLABORATE and is complemented for holistic design in practice by the RAL Trendbox 2025+ as a material collection. A design kit and the leporello in a total of 8 languages are available for download free of charge.

This year's colour trend report RAL COLOUR FEELING 2025+ is entitled CARE + COLLABORATE. Circular economy and regenerative design are in focus. The 15-part colour palette for 2025+ builds on the past and looks to the future: 5 colours were deliberately taken from the previous trend palette, two colours already continue from 2021+ and have become new classics.

The colour palette responds to current issues, motivates change, supports project-oriented design and builds resonant relationships with the environment.

Familiar shapes and stabilising colours as well as vibrant, motivating nuances with high chroma will characterise the coming years. Relaxation areas are designed to be calming and tactile - alongside colourful focal points support creativity and communication. Earthy surface tones are complemented by fresh accents to create vibrant combinations.

The 15 colours will be of particular relevance in architecture, design, crafts, trade and industry in 2025 and beyond. They can be flexibly combined with each other and thus enable adaptable design. At the same time, all colours are from the RAL DESIGN SYSTEM plus, which allows them to be used contextually and systematically complemented.

The interaction of colour, material, surface and texture creates atmospheric, holistic designs. New this year, the RAL Trendbox 2025+ is available corresponding to the trend report, which translates the current colours into 5 materials each. The title of this year CARE + COLLABORATE characterises the box: it was created in cooperation with our partners and contains standardised RAL Single Sheets A6, plastic colour samples from Covestro, powder coated metal from Tiger Coatings, carpet samples from Object Carpet and textile samples from Gabriel.

The RAL COLOUR FEELING 2025+ and the RAL Trendbox 2025+ simultaneously continue the long-standing cooperation with the Institute International Trendscouting at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hildesheim, Germany.

The RAL Trendbox 2025+ is nominated for the German Design Award 2024 in the category Excellent Product Design.
