RAL COLOUR FEELING 2022+

Dear readers,

since last week, our view of the world has changed fundamentally. We are all stunned and suffer with the people in Ukraine. Many values that we in Europe have hitherto regarded as binding on everyone have begun to waver and at the moment no one knows how geopolitical developments will continue. The anticipation of an abatement of the still omnipresent pandemic and thus of a little more togetherness have currently taken a back seat for many interlocutors. We all hope that the parties involved will soon return to the negotiating table and make a serious effort to find a peaceful solution.

In these times, places of good design can become special places of well-being for us. Today, terms such as sustainability, flexibility and holistic approaches are at the centre of architecture and design. However, to call these developments trends would be too short-sighted; rather, they are transformational changes that have a permanent impact on our work. The RAL trend report COLOUR FEELING 2022+ provides a lively and adaptive colour palette to satisfy the needs of our time. Modern colour design is no longer just a superficial decision, but must be considered holistically and multisensory.

We have always been committed to good colour design. At the same time, we do not only want to make good design possible, but also to provide our customers with products that meet the demands of modern and practical design. For the fifth time in a row, we have received a German Design Award from the German Design Council, confirming that we are successfully putting this philosophy into practice. A great recognition for the entire RAL COLOURS team.

With that in mind, we of course always ask ourselves, which requirements can we fulfil even better? In spring 2022, the RAL COLOURS product range will offer attractive new items such as a new colour shade in the RAL CLASSIC family and a new layout for the E3 colour fan.

Time and time again it is reported that even today sustainability is often used as a cloak and associated with little substance. In this edition, we introduce you to our sustainability team and answer the question of how sustainability is put into practice at RAL.

We hope you enjoy reading our latest newsletter and wish you a good peaceful time.

Sincerely,

your RAL COLOURS editorial office

With RELATE + SUPPORT, we continue to provide our customers with a lively and adaptive colour palette for 2022 and well beyond, in line with the needs of our time. The trend report is to be understood as a design tool that both promotes functional and sensual-aesthetic design. The current RAL COLOUR FEELING 2022+ was also developed in close cooperation with the Institute International Trendscouting at the HAWK University of Applied Sciences & Arts in Hildesheim.

German Design Award for RAL COLOURS

For the fifth time in a row, RAL COLOURS has received the German Design Award. The award was given for the new online appearance, which has become more and more popular since its relaunch in April 2021. For the jury it was particularly pleasing that the modern, fresh design of the user interface perfectly communicates the RAL COLOURS brand content "Innovation & Reliability. Worldwide". At the same time, visitors are provided with appealing, emotional information and a modern, easy shopping experience.
