RAL COLOURS summer news

RAL FARBEN Sommernews

Dear readers,

Most of us are still affected by the Corona issue every day; many aspects will be our permanent companion for quite a long time with regard to our professional and private life. The cancellation of major trade fairs and personal events has made it clear to us how rapidly our world is currently changing. This also applies to the area of colour and colour design, not least because of its close link to materiality and surface design.

The current trend report RAL COLOUR Feeling 2020+ picks up these links and gives ideas for the interaction of fundamental design principles with the colour issue.

Colour accompanies us throughout all our life. In an interview with RAL COLOURS Prof. Timo Rieke from the Institute International Trendscouting explains the significant role of colours in our everyday life.

We hope you enjoy reading our latest newsletter, but above all, we wish you and your family a relaxing and healthy summer time.

Sincerely,

Your RAL COLOURS editorial office

New DNA colour shade „Violet purple“ online

The RAL colour DNA: The individual colour shades and their precise definition. The DNA term derives from molecular science, that deals with the personified uniqueness of the genetic material. At this point, we use this term as a linguistic sign of a characteristic definition which provides each colour shade with an (almost) independent distinctiveness. Each colour shade has a number of independent characteristics and orientations distinguishing it from other colours.

The latest RAL COLOUR 320 40 40 reveals a nice combination of surprising and familiar characteristics.
