This also applies to the area of colour and colour design, not least because of its close link to materiality and surface design.

On behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), RAL gGmbH took over the role of the official awarding and monitoring body for the „Green Button“ with effect from May 4, 2020. In this process, the state-stipulated product and company criteria of the textile label are controlled by independent testing laboratories. Subsequently, RAL takes on the licensing management for the new state label. (German only)
